Simple adjustments for optimum performance
Check the alignment marks on the side of the latch as shown. Locate the small silver screw to adjust – it can be found on the side externally or internally when the gate is open.
Check the position of the horizontal alignment marks on the front of the latch as shown.
If not lined up move to step 2.
If the vertical alignment needs to be adjusted remove the silver locking screw as indicated using a No 2 Phillips head screwdriver.
Open the gate to locate the small silver screw. To adjust horizontally, turn the striker plate adjustment screw, using a No 2 . Phillips head screwdriver.
Adjust by gently tapping either down from the top of latch or up from the bottom of the latch to realign the markers, then reinsert the silver locking screw.
Check that the markers on the front are realigned.
